Chart notes
KASIM set the pace on the inside, raced two wide into the stretch, responded when roused and held well under urging in the final furlong. LUCKY JAIME raced off the pace inside, advanced inside on the turn, rallied on the rail, bid passing the eighth pole and came up second best. SOUTH SEA chased two wide, steadied at the three eighths marker, then rallied mildly on the rail in the stretch and was up for the show spot. J P HELLISH chased close up two wide, chased the winner on the turn and weakened. R BOY BODE chased three wide early, chased on the turn and tired. SHOO SHINE raced off the pace and was outrun.
