Chart notes
ROCKY TOUGH was unhurried early, moved up along the inside on the turn, check nearing the eighth pole when Big City Bane came in, angled out for room, responded and came on again to be up in the final strides. BIG CITY BANE never far back, moved up along the inside to join the leaders on the backstretch, drifted out slightly entering the stretch, then came in nearing the eighth pole and just failed last. PISTOL POWER prompted the pace into the stretch while three-wide and weakened slightly late. BERNALINHO settled in stride while racing four-wide, drifted wider in the stretch and finished in a mild rally. FRANKS FIX IT set the pressured pace for six furlongs from between horses and tired. R B EYE was forwardly placed for five furlongs and gave way. The stewards conducted a review of the race, but made no change in the order of finish,
