FREEDOM ROAD raced off the pace, advanced on the turn, angled out, made a strong four wide run at the quarter pole, closed willingly outside, charged to the front at the eighth pole and drew away under mild urging. EL DE CHIMI dueled three wide early, then two wide on the turn, led into the stretch, dug in gamely in the lane and came up second best. EASY AS A. B. C. dueled between rivals for the early lead, steadied nearing the turn, then chased, came three wide into the lane, rallied mildly and held on for third. BLAME D RULE MAKER was off a bit slow, raced two wide off the pace, advanced at the quarter pole, closed well late and missed for third. AWESOMEBROTHERBILL dueled inside for the lead, dueled on the turn and weakened in the lane. ROYAL MOVER raced off the pace, advanced inside on the turn, rode the rail in the stretch and lacked a rally. TIEMPO PERFECTO chased outside a rival and tired. DRIVEN BY PRESSURE was off slowly and steadied, raced off the pace inside and was outrun.
