Chart notes
STONUS MAXIMUS sprinted clear early, quickly opened a clear lead and maintained a safe advantage. BALIUS was off a step slow then settled into stride, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast. MARKSMAN ON TARGET was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and was making up ground late. ROCKED settled in the middle of the field early, rallied five-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. C JAXON was in tight early while racing between horses, then was reserved off the pace and failed to threaten. BUHM'S CANDY BOY chased the winner for a half mile and stopped. The trainer of C Jaxon lodged an objection against the winner, but after viewing the films, the stewards made no change in the order of finish.
