Chart notes
CAJUN BERTI dueled for the early lead from the inside of rival, dug in near the sixteenth pole and prevailed under all out pressure while racing off the inside. IRISH EXPECTATIONS stalked the dueling pair down the backstretch, moved up five wide near the three sixteenths pole and finished gamely to the wire. RAVENS REFLECTION dueled for the early lead, raced between and gave way grudgingly late. TEMPRANO was slow in the early stages, raced between foes in the stretch run and moved up late. WONDER RUN was coaxed along early from the inside and never threatened. MIDNIGHT SPIRIT settled off the early pace, raced five to six wide through the upper stretch and lacked a bid.
