Chart notes
HAZELBROOK settled off the pace switching off the inside up the backstretch, began to move three then four wide on the turn, came into upper stretch six wide and was bumped near the three-sixteenths, bid outside just after that incident and dueled till late when inching clear under strong urging. AMALFI COAST switched out early stalking mid-pack in behind rivals and outside, went three wide on the turn, was bumped into a foe at the top of the stretch, dueled inside the latter rival but was outfinished while second best. LA LIBERTEE was unhurried early shifting in and settling at the rear, advanced two wide on the turn, came out in mid-stretch and ran on for show honors. BOARDROOM switched out a bit in the early going, tracked from between runners, went two wide on the turn, angled four wide and bumped a foe coming out of that bend, ran on evenly in the lane. ARTIE'S PRINCESS was stoutly urged forward at the break, moved clear and set the pace racing just off the rail, was challenged past the three-eighths racing on or just off the rail, weakened in the stretch. DYNASTY OF HER OWN stalked the early pace outside, edged closer to press two to three wide into the turn, bid at the quarter taking a narrow brief lead between calls then was overtaken in upper stretch and weakened. LORENA broke on top, shifted in and was soon overtaken for the lead, was in tight quarters and steadied just slightly along the rail past the seven-sixteenths, failed to rally.
