Chart notes
BOSSMAN JONES stalked the pacesetter through slow fractions, dueled from the quarter pole to the finish and was just up. NORTHERN EXPRESS controlled the pace under rating, was collared on the final turn and held on gamely. OILER saved ground close up, was asked for run on the final turn then went evenly late. ELOQUIST settled off the leaders, advanced inside with a mild rally. ICONIC LEGACY steered wide into first turn and continued wide and had no bid. THE HONORABLE ONE dropped back early outside and stopped losing contact with his field.
