Chart notes
BISCUITS AND GRITS chased the pace into the stretch, made the lead late under strong left handed urging and proved best by a narrow margin. BRIG away alertly, set the pace until deep stretch, dug in determinedly and just missed hanging on. FAHRENHEIT was a sharp threat along the rail until deep stretch then faded. LAUTREC allowed to settle, passed tiring rivals in the six path. TIZ A RUSH was no factor. HENRY THE CAT close up, drifted out entering the stretch and weakened. SWEET LEMON DROP failed to menace.
