Chart notes
OAK HILL LG steadied slightly into the first turn in traffic, settled in the run up the backstretch, asked along three wide far turn, roused entering the stretch, outside bid, edged clear late while kept to pressure. FORT BONZ broke in the air, quickly recovered to be forwardly placed early, moved closer in the three path to vie before a half, narrowly showed the way through the final turn, vied between foes past midstretch, drifted in slightly to put a weakening MY BOOK in a bit tight a furlong out, could not match strides with the winner late, clear for the place. MY BOOK broke on top, set or forced the pace along the inside, continued to contest the issue into the lane, was appearing to weaken a bit with a furlong to run when in tight, remained clear of the others. WE NEED A FIVE away in good order, dueled early in the two path, fell back between horses second turn, went evenly through the lane. CALLTHEWOLFE fell back to trail after the start and made little impact. MY LITTLE FLACO was finished after a half while racing off the inside.
