Chart notes
DAILY BRIEFING pressed the pace on the outside of a duo while well out in the track, moved in late on the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead inside the three-eighths, accelerated clear outside the quarter-pole, responded well when put to a right-handed crop in upper stretch, switched to a left-handed crop while widening into the final furlong, continued under a couple pops of a left-handed crop to near the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a hand-ride to the wire while much the best. BIG TONY'S GIRL was urged along on the outside, went four wide around the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. BASTET was hustled from the gate, pressed the pace between horses while being carried out, vied in the two path while still between foes on the turn, dropped back outside the quarter-pole and weakened while able to get the show. BELLS ON HER TOES broke out some at the start, was urged along at the rear, moved in at the nine-sixteenths, saved ground around the turn, shifted three wide at the quarter-pole, moved further out in the stretch and failed to respond. KNOT ANYMORE was hustled from the start, drifted out while setting the pace under pressure, dropped in to vied along the rail on the turn, was headed inside the three-eighths, dropped back outside the quarter-pole and stopped.
