Chart notes
D D S EXPRESS vied for the lead from inside up the backstretch, moved clear around the bend and drew away down the lane. ARREST was off a bit slow to begin, settled behind the early speed battle, went three wide into the turn, moved out and came five wide into the stretch, rallied in the lane and was clearly second best. CROSS EXAMINE was off slow to begin, chased on the inside at the back, tipped out and advanced around the far turn, put in a mild rally and gained the show. LOOKIN TO EXCEL was off a bit slow, went up to vie six deep up the backstretch, could not keep up with the winner on the tur and chased three wide into the stretch, then flattened to fourth. SASQUATCH RIDE came away slow, chased at the back outside a rival early, went three deep into the turn, altered out around the bend and came five wide into the stretch, then kept on to improved position. HIDING THE BRICK vied five deep to the turn, could not keep pace with the winner around the bend, chased two wide into the stretch and weakened. RING GENERAL vied for the lead three deep early, chased two wide into the stretch and flattened. ERIK THE VIKING dropped back early, trailed four wide into the stretch and failed to menace. BUTTONWOOD TREE vied between rivals up the backstretch, lost ground through the turn and faded. MACHO SAM vied four deep and between rivals early, suffered a shuffle at the seven-sixteenths pole, dropped back around the turn and weakened. DIVINELY DIVERSE showed early speed and traveled seven deep up the backstretch, dropped back around the bend and exited the turn four wide and tired.
