Chart notes
ROCKIN THE PALACE was reserved early, made steady advance on the outside and hit the front at the five sixteenths marker, continued five wide and drew out to prove best under mild drive. MACKENZIE'S NOVVA was allowed to settle early, made a three wide move on the turn, but could not go with the winner, second best. TOUCH OF PRINCE was allowed to settle, made a mild four wide move on the turn and then held on to the show award late. SKIMBLE SHANKS was void of early speed, came three wide into the drive, angled in for racing room and had a belated rally on the inside. UPTOWNJACOB BROWN was reserved early on the inside and had no rally. CARPE SOGNO vied for the lead three wide and weakened.
