Chart notes
FLAT OUT FLASHY set the pace while clear, then drew out leaving the quarter pole, then remained well clear under a vigorous hand ride. GRAZELY chased the early pace and made a mild bid four wide on the turn, then finished gamely for the place award. SEAT OF HONOR chased the pace on the inside, then was between rivals on the turn and came three wide into the drive and was outfinished for the place award. THUNDER GRUNDER was void of early speed and lacked a rally. CATTLE DRIVE tracked the pace three wide and tired. POCOPSON STATION was allowed to settle early, advanced on the inside on the second turn and then stopped.
