Chart notes
MISS RIDDLER pressed the pace two wide, vied between horses around the far turn, gained an advantage in upper stretch, and drew off through the final furlong while shown a left handed crop to stay on task. MENDED WE STAND broke outwardly many paths at the start, stalked three wide, pressed the top pair around the far turn, but briefly failed to keep pace with them entering the lane, yet sustained stride through the final furlong to wear down an inner tiring foe for place in the closing stages. WEEHAWKEN set the pace inside of a prompting MISS RIDDLER, vied with that foe around the far turn as another outer foe pressed the issue, but was headed by the aforementioned foe in upper stretch, gave way at the furlong grounds, and lost place in the final sixteenth. LIKE FINE WINE laid off of the pace in the three path, tracked two wide and between horses around the far turn, but lacked a rally. PADDY GAL saved ground while tracking in midpack, but faded. SHE'S JERSEY TUFF trailed in the two to three paths around the turns, and made little impact.
