Chart notes
COWBOY CAUSEWAY prompted the pace while racing three-wide, took the lead in the stretch, drew clear and maintained a safe advantage. TAP THE BANK was allowed to settle in stride, came four-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. SENOR FABULOSO unhurried early, moved closer along the inside on the turn, angled out three-wide and was gaining late. INDIAN RULE vied for the lead to the stretch from between horses and weakened. SALTY DAN dueled for the lead to the stretch from along the inside and tired. BET THE HOUSE was forwardly placed for three furlongs from along the outside, appeared to go wrong, was pulled up and vanned off.
