Chart notes
UTTERLY COURAGEOUS lacked speed, swung out leaving the turn, was fanned to the six path in mid stretch closed determinedly outside horses and gained the lead approaching the finish. MAIL CALL prompted the pace two wide around the turn, gained the lead in upper stretch, opened a clear lead in mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. KILLY START saved ground on the turn, moved to the three path turning for home, drifted in to the inner rail near the sixteenth pole and flattened out. LOVING CUP circled foes on the turn, was four wide turning for home, fanned to the five path in mid stretch and flattened out. BAFFLE 'EM bumped CLOSERTOTHEHEART when drifting in leaving the starting gate, swung three wide leaving the turn and weakened. CLOSERTOTHEHEART , bumped leaving the starting gate, chased the pace while in the two path around the turn and gave way in the drive. MORNING COCKTAIL showed speed along the inner rail and gave way in upper stretch.
