Chart notes
DUSTWHIRL WONDER settled off the rail, rallied to the lead two deep past the quarter pole, dueled clear into the lane then widened under steady handling. UPSY DAISY DO rated off the pace about the four path, bid past the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and came along for second the final strides. CATHERINES WARRIOR rated a short lead inside, came under pressure approaching the quarter pole, was caught past the pole, continued close near the rail on the turn then flattened the final furlong. FONDA ROMANA steadied at the start then raced off the pace saving ground, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the four path of the far turn and showed little more. BUFF N stalked the early pace two deep, bid nearing the three eighths pole then weakened at the rail on the far turn. TAPETE CLAIRE saved ground, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole but weakened at the rail on the far turn. RHYTHM TREE stalked three wide early and showed little response through the backstretch.
