FREEDOM FLASH was urged to the lead along the inside racing to the first turn, conceded the advantage on the backstretch to track the leaders along the inside to the far turn, tipped out racing into upper stretch and produced a solid second effort to wrest the advantage in time under strong handling. CALZONE was rated off the second flight along the inside to the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn gathering momentum, angled five wide racing past midstretch and edged a rival for the place honors at the wire. BACK TO SELLING, in touch prompting the pacesetter racing to the backstretch, took over after a half while angling to the inside, held sway to upper stretch but faltered in the drive. MINNESOTA RED, caught four wide racing to the first turn, moved to prompt the leaders three deep ion the backstretch, pressed the issue outside a rival on the far turn to upper stretch, drifted about under pressure nearing midstretch and weakened late. FLASHFIRE was rated off the second flight to the backstretch, advanced on the leaders three wide into the far turn, was fanned four wide in upper stretch and had no final kick. GRUNDER settled last racing to the far turn, angled five wide in upper stretch but made no impact. IZEONDEC settled between foes in early stages and failed to menace thereafter. SLIGHTLY CRAFTY tracked the leaders three wide foes in second flight racing to the backstretch and emptied out early. SWAMPDRAINER tracked the leaders inside foes in second flight, shifted out to make brief progress between foes on the far turn, was steadied in tight quarters nearing midstretch and quickly emptied out.
