Chart notes
SMOKEN SHADOW showed good early speed to set the early pace and held gamely in the drive to be well clear late under steady handling. NAVAL ESCORT chased the pace from the inside early, moved up two wide through the far turn, angled six wide through the stretch run and made a good late bid. HARBOR OUTLAW was coaxed along early while racing three deep, raced five wide near the three sixteenths pole and kept on to the wire. IDIDNTSEETHATCOMIN tracked the early leader while racing two wide and weakened in the stretch run. MARCH ON LINCH was void of speed, raced near the inside around the far turn through the stretch and had not enough. FORTY SMOOCHES chased the early pace, raced four wide near the quarter pole and weakened.
