RED KNOBS pressed outside early, increased pressure backstretch, forced issue into final turn and stretch, drew even in mid stretch, wore down rival, took over sixteenth pole, drew out. GREAT ESCAPE had inside speed under increasing pressure from the winner, took a short lead into the stretch, gave best, gave way grudgingly from mid stretch. CLANCY'S PISTOL stalked off rail, advanced inside final turn, rallied evenly. PRAYFORPEACE stalked pressured pace outside, lacked rally. STRONG BELIEF stalked the pressured pace inside, tired on the final turn. GOLD SPECIAL stalked wide, faded. GET WITT GONE stumbled badly at the break, saved ground, faded. DIMMI QUANDO showed little.
