Chart notes
GOLDEN BELL vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, shook free at the top of the lane, dug in gamely inside and drew clear late. MY BEAUTIFUL BELLE steadied after the start, raced off the pace, advanced two wide on the turn, rallied four wide into the stretch and came up second best. BOURBON REBELLION was off a bit slow, outrun early, advanced entering the stretch, angled out at the eighth pole and closed fast late to get third. EMPIRE G vied two wide for the lead, dueled with the winner on the turn and weakened in the final sixteenth. MIDTOWN ROSE chased on the inside, advanced at the quarter pole, rode the rail in the stretch and failed to rally. WORLD GONE WILD vied three wide early, chased three wide on the turn and faded.
