Chart notes
LYING JEFF was allowed to settle while four to three wide on the backstretch, advanced three to four wide on the turn, continued that bid in the lane and won the bob late to prove best under a drive. CODIGO was allowed to settle early and advanced on the inside, angled off the rail in the stretch and made a bid but but lost the bob on the wire. EDMUND FITZGERALD set a pressured pace on the inside early, drew clear on the backstretch, then was caught leaving the sixteenth marker and stayed on to best the rest. TUCKER ROAD was reserved early, came five wide into the lane and offered a late rally for the minor reward. RUNYONESQUE was allowed to settle and made a mild advance but lacked a late response. DANCE ON THE MOON pressed the early pace three wide, then rated off the pace on the backstretch, came four wide into the lane and weakened. DON CICCIO lacked a rally. LUCA AT THE SPA failed to menace. SO THERE checked after the start, not a factor.
