Chart notes
LEDDY bumped with a rival at the start, chased the pace on the outside then in the three path around the turn, gained to take the lead into upper stretch, shook clear under one pop of a left-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths, was given one pop of a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole then placed under a solid hand-ride to the wire while much the best. PRINTRACK came away in front then was hustled, showed the while while lugging out some well off the inside, moved in late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, lost the lead to the winner into upper stretch and proved no match while clear for the place. NEVER EARLY bumped with a rival at the start, settled off the pace, was coaxed four wide around the turn, came under the crop while remaining on his inside lead in upper stretch and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. NOT YET CHARLIE was bumped soundly by READY TO MARCH at the start then taken up off the heels of that foe with a tug of the right-rein, spotted the field a few lengths while slow into stride, was urged along on the outside, went two then three wide early on the turn, moved to four then five wide later on that bend and failed to rally. RAW COURAGE was ridden along near the back, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn and failed to threaten. READY TO MARCH was fractious then broke open the front of his stall doors but remained in the gate, came out at the start and bumped soundly with NOT YET CHARLIE, chased the pace down the backstretch, dropped back inside on the turn and faltered.
