Chart notes
TALKBACK pressed the early pace three wide, rallied to make the lead at the top of the stretch then widened the balance of the trip to win as much the best while being ridden out. EASY EYES never far back, the rider lost his whip at the eighth pole and rallied for second between horses. PROUD MAID MARIAN trailed into the stretch, swung wide and close determinedly late. MARIPOSA D'ORO pressed the pace along the rail into the turn, dropped back then came on again near the inside. ANNMARIA well placed, failed to respond. DUDES LAWYER away alertly, set a pressured pace in the two path to the top of the stretch then gave way late.
