Chart notes
U ROCK IT closed to the front at the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, rounded the turn near the rail and was steadily handled to hold on well. GRAND FIBER chased inside, rounded the turn just off the rail and finished well, while unable to gain on the winner. SILVER CASTLE chased toward the outside, rounded the turn in the three and four paths and dueled through later yards for third. MOSBY'S RANGER gave chase, ran near the rail on the turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. WILLIE THE WHALE chased, raced off the rail on the turn and flattened in the lane.
