Chart notes
HELMS DEEP was sent to the lead to set the early pace, drew off on the backstretch while setting a fast pace, then remained clear by the furlong marker and remained clear to the wire to prove best, driving. CRISPER was settled back early, advanced on the inside on the turn, then finished well on the inside in the lane to get the place award. BEST CHANCE was reserved early on the inside4, then advanced on the inside and shifted out leaving the quarter pole, came four wide into the lane and rallied, missed place. COURT AND SPARK was allowed to settle early on the inside, advanced three wide on the turn but needed more late. SHARP RED EAGLE chased the early pace and made a mild bid on the inside but flattened out. INDOCTRINATE was reserved two to three wide and lacked a rally. SAKETUMI settled three to four wide and tired on the turn. SOUND THE CHARGE tracked the pace three wide and stopped, bled.
