Chart notes
BAR TAP broke to the outside carrying TOTAL MALICE out, raced in the second flight early three wide, joined the fray up front after a half, vied on the outside through the final turn, drove clear with less than a furlong remaining then held the runner up safe late. VARSITY FLYGIRL broke out a bit at the start, worked clear before a quarter inside, vied along the rail into the far turn, fell back through that bend, moved to the outside for the drive and was getting back to the winner late. BLAZING CHARM forwardly placed early inside, moved up to contest the issue between the top two into the far turn, dueled inside the winner into the stretch then weakened the final furlong along the rail. GEORGIA DAWN in the second flight early, fell back off the lead group before a half, continued one paced through the lane in lacking a closing response. TOTAL MALICE floated out at the start, trailed throughout in lacking a bid.
