Chart notes
SPECIAL RESERVE broke sharply clinging to a narrow lead from the outset racing abreast rival through the turn angling from the two to the three path in upper stretch edging off late to win clear. BAYTOWN BEAR hustled up on the inside pressed through the turn dueling into upper stretch gradually ceding under pressure though remaining responsive late. WILLISTON WAY chased the pace coming five wide in upper stretch brushing with rival while angling in a bit mid stretch moving evenly the final sixteenth. MACRON angled out shortly after break then back to the inside entering the turn, raced on the inside shoulder of rival in upper stretch being brushed in mid stretch finding no rally late. LE GENERAL was never involved. DARK OAK was always outrun.
