Chart notes
TAUBER was angled in early and taken to rate, steadied briefly when appearing to want to get out into the turn, regrouped and eased out to advance past the three eighths, worked his way between runners leaving three sixteenths then emerged in the clear as the closest pursuer of the leader, kept on grinding under left handed asking, forged ahead in deep stretch then prevailed. MONSTER MASON was taken to rate in the opening furlong and dropped in, edged up when angling off the inside into the stretch, moved up about four to five wide near the three sixteenths, was forced to alter out further soon after, straightened away, came with a game run and was gaining between rivals. SUE LOVES BARBADOS , well back while saving ground, swung very wide for the drive, straightened away and finished well to close the gap. PICKIN SEA GLASS accelerated to the inside of HEIR PORT in the opening eighth, took command and cleared off, set a rated pace two wide into the lane, remained clear while being set down near mid stretch, ceded to the winner inside the sixteenth pole then gave way grudgingly. PRINCE PERE , three to four wide early, shifted out and gained past the three sixteenths but failed to sustain in the final furlong. ZIP LINE TO HEAVEN , floated out some by the winner nearing the turn, regrouped and rated off the rail mid turn, shifted out wider for the drive, altered out late but could only manage a mild gain. HEIR PORT , urged to a brief early lead, rated off of PICKIN SEA GLASS after a furlong, stalked under a light hold then moved up into the lane, had aim heading to mid stretch, failed to kick on and faded. WAR AND ROSES , well placed inside, failed to go on nearing the three sixteenths and weakened. FOLE'S NOTION broke a step slow, was lightly steadied soon after then was outrun.
