Chart notes
WHEN'S TEE TIME stalked the early pacesetters from a two path stance, swung to three wide at upper stretch, and kicked clear for the score. MONARCH MAN loomed off the heels of the pacesetter around the first turn, angled out to the four path at upper stretch, then rallied in final furlong to earn the place. WHITAKER rushed from outset and gained first command, led the field through the opening half while saving ground, was on even terms as the inner most rival of three abreast at upper stretch, but could not fend off the late charging rivals in the late strides. MILITARY BEARING was unhurried in the early going, trekked a wide path around opening turn, and improved placing with a late rush. MO TAP came up empty after pressing the early pace from a two path pose and establishing a brief lead at the quarter pole. UNCLE ARTIE closed with a rush and improved placing after trekking three wide through both bends. IMA BIG BOPPER settled into mid pack through opening half while saving ground, angled out near the three sixteenths pole, but was unable to produce a rally in final furlong. OLD SOT showed reserve early, travelled widest and lost ground to front runners. AMAVI settled into mid pack and gave chase from a two path stance before tiring in the late going. MORO COOL broke alertly, rated mid pack through the half, then retreated thereafter.
