Chart notes
INDEFATIGABLE raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path, began a bid in upper stretch, gained ground between horses and pulled clear late. BLAME THE BOOZE led the field on the inside up the backstretch, continued to show the way from the two path around the turn, drifted out and bumped repeatedly with MY BOY BLUE in upper stretch, straightened out and chased the winner to the wire. HELLFIRE BOB raced at the back of the pack on the outside in the early going, navigated the turn from the three path and gained ground on the outside late. MY BOY BLUE chased the leaders up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the turn, began a bid entering the stretch, was bumped repeatedly by BLAME THE BOOZE nearing the eighth pole and kept on from there. RUN LEA RUN raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, improved position in upper stretch and weakened late. SIMILAR TASTE raced at the back of the pack on the inside early, saved ground around the turn and came up empty in the lane. BOOZYMILKSHAKEBAR pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the four path around the turn and faded in the stretch. AN OBJECTION WAS FILED BY THE RIDER OF HORSE EIGHT, MY BOY BLUE, CITING INTERFERENCE FROM HORSE ONE, BLAME THE BOOZE, IN UPPER STRETCH. UPON REVIEW, BLAME THE BOOZE WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED FOURTH FOR INTERFERENCE.
