CHECOTAH broke in, bumping MERINO WOOL at the start, gained a striking position and bid outside the leader into the stretch, shook clear, then was no match for the winner and held the place. DANCE OR STROLL allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch, angled out, made a steady gain, edged up for the show and held. DON'T MAKE ME BEG well placed, moved to position two and three wide through the turn, bid three wide into the lane and evened out. CHARLIV unhurried in the early going, moved up on the two path through the turn, bid three wide into the lane and flattened out. EMERALD CITADELLE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then faded late.
