Chart notes
RULING cleared the field and set the pace inside, came under pressure at the rail through the turn and was steadily handled in the lane. COMPANY CLOWN chased, rounded the turn off the rail, drifted into the stretch then dueled for second. KUKULKAN raced hemmed in early, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, steadied at the rail into the turn then flattened in the stretch duel for third. INSIDE RISK raced well back from early contention, rounded the turn near the rail and ran evenly in the lane. HEY CONGRATS chased, rounded the turn in the three and four paths then flattened in the lane. SHACKLEFORDS STORM became a bit fractious in the gate, gave chase through the backstretch, ran in the three and four paths of the turn and showed little more. BULL MEECHUM chased, rounded the turn off the rail, was eased in the stretch and vanned off sore.
