Chart notes
WALK THE BANK saved ground, bid nearing the three eighths pole and rounded the far turn about the four path, dug in for the lead mid-stretch and held on, all out. ROCK FILE saved ground well off the pace, bid leaving the half mile pole, angled five wide toward the head of the lane then outfinished in the duel through the stretch. EISELE settled off the rail the first turn, bid leaving the half mile pole and rounded the far turn at the rail, took a brief lead just inside the eighth pole, but flattened later yards. BOP MARLEY settled back in the three path, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, ran off the rail on the far turn, eased out in the upper stretch and passed some rivals. FIT BUT FAT closed to contention while tapering in and stalked two deep, took a slim lead nearing the five sixteenths pole, but was met midway on the turn and flattened in the lane. SCHOOLYARD BULLY showed little response. BANNER MAN became fractious, broke through the gate and ran loose before the race started, rounded the opening turn about the four path then faded through the backstretch. GATTOSING rated the pace inside, was met nearing the five sixteenths pole and dueled at a close disadvantage from that point, recovered the nod at the rail midway on the far turn, drew briefly clear at the eighth pole but at the same time, was taken up and collapsed: However, got up and was vanned off post race.
