Chart notes
UNCLE NICK pressed from two wide, took the lead while drifting out to the center in the stretch, but held on well. PRIVATE CONNIE stalked in the two path, was coaxed from the five path at the top of the lane, and ran on for place. HONORABLE VOW was slow to start and was well back in the four path, was hustled from the eight path into the stretch, and improved down the center. INDIAN SPRINGS tracked in the three path, was ridden from the three path into the stetch, and gained late. RIVER STONES was unhurried while saving ground but never threatened. TRIPLE CHROME set the pace off the rail but faded passing the eighth pole. STAVANGER chased from the five path but was empty coming into the stretch.
