Chart notes
ALY'S NATION vied with Coastal Queen for the lead throughout and proved narrowly best in a prolonged drive. COASTAL QUEEN dueled for the lead from the outset along the inside and just missed in a determined effort. FIRST TIME PLAYER was unhurried early, rallied three-wide into the stretch. split rivals during the drive and finished strongly. CALLIOPE SONG was allowed to settle in stride, came four-wide into the stretch and was gaining some ground late. MIA CASA stalked the leaders while racing two-wide, but had no response when asked. AMULET saved ground to the stretch, drifted out slightly during the drive and was not a factor. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
