PROUD MULE moved up early on to contest the pace, vied inside for command, took charge on the turn, dug in gamely inside of MIDNIGHT HEIRESS in the stretch run and prevailed determinedly. MIDNIGHT HEIRESS vied outside for the lead, chased the winner on the turn, dug in gamely outside in the stretch run and battled to the wire. BEL PENSIERO chased two wide, chased the leaders on the turn and rallied mildly outside in the stretch drive. ROCKY SEAS was off a bit slow, raced off the pace, inside on the turn and bested the others. PAINT ME BEAUTIFUL raced off the rail, off the pace and did not factor. FAIR AND TRUE bobbled at the break and was outrun. BUSTIN DOWN DOORS chased inside and faded.
