Chart notes
DOWNTOWNCHALYBROWN set the early pace while clear, then drew out in the drive to prove much the best, driving. SASSY LAD chased the pace and was four wide on the turn, then had some late gain to get the place award. CATTY'S UNCLE tracked the pace on the inside and lacked the needed stretch bid, outfinished for the place award. GANDI tracked the pace and came three wide into the lane but weakened the final furlong. SOUTHERN RUNNER was allowed to settle on the inside and lacked a rally. YANKEE EMPIRE chased the pace and was five wide on the turn, drifted in by the three sixteenths and weakened.
