MEGA CHARLIE vied for the lead around the first turn then set a pressured pace through the backstretch, vied outside of ARISTICAT around the final turn, held a slim lead a furlong out, dug in determinedly and edged away. ARISTOCAT vied for the lead around the first turn then prompted the pace through the backstretch, vied inside of MEGA CHARLIE around the final turn, continued in striking distance a furlong out then failed to stay in touch with the eventual winner. LOONSHOT stalked the pace through the backstretch, was ridden along three wide around the far turn, sustained bid into the lane and ran on for a share. MEET GEORGE JETSON tracked the early pace, hustled up four wide around the far turn and into the lane, responded evenly. NUGGET OF GRACE raced off the early pace, chased two wide around the final turn and failed to rally. TACTICAL REBEL raced four wide into the first turn and settled in the back, saved ground on the final turn and had no response.
