A KITTEN FOR KATIE was encouraged to stay close from inside, all out in the lane and got up in time. G MONEY LIV broke on top and was quickly clear, showed the way in hand just off the inside, was asked entering the stretch, put to a drive the last furlong, was outfinished but proved easily second best. WEDDING BOURBON chased from inside, came into contention two wide on the bend, fanned outside G MONEY LIV into the stretch, moved clear for third then could only hold her position late. AMARI S. raced in the second flight for a half mile, came four wide into the stretch then flattened out. BACKSTAGE BAMBI in the second flight early just outside AMARI S., did not keep up four wide on the bend and gradually angled in as she continued to fade in the lane. ARCTIC TEARS stayed off the inside and failed to menace. LITTLE ACCOUNT showed little in a wide trip.
