BACK SHACK settled off the early pace while racing just out from the rail entering the backstretch, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and finished four wide in the drive while unable to make a serious late impact. BRIAN'S DE LEIGHT away alertly and dueled for the lead from between rivals entering the first turn, continued to force the issue from between rivals in the run to the final turn, was unable to keep tabs on his pace rivals entering the final turn, and was outfinished over the final furlong. PURSUE was slow into stride after some mild bumping away from the gate, trailed the field into the first turn, and was pulled up soon after entering the backstretch when hopelessly beaten.
