Chart notes
PAYMENGOLD pressured the pace through the backstretch and took the nod two deep at the quarter pole, dueled clear mid-stretch and held on well. LORD OF CORK became edgy in the gate waiting for the last horse to load, chased toward the inside through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path, dug in for second mid-stretch and finished well. PINNACLE REEF was very difficult to load, chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn in the six and seven paths and finished well; widest. JUST A FLIRT gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path then flattened. BUTTERSCOTCHSUNDAE was shuffled back at the start, gave chase inside, rounded the turn near the rail and ran evenly in the lane. TWO ROOM SCHOOL was hustled to the lead at the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, gave up the lead at the quarter pole, continued close to mid-stretch and gave way the final sixteenth. TIME TO CHOOSE unseated his rider and ran loose in the post parade, chased through the backstretch and rounded the turn off the rail. NEVERPOPTHECORK became edgy in the gate and saved ground.
