ABOVE THE LAW bumped at the start, sent clear and opened up early, continued clear on the turn, drifted in a path entering the stretch, briefly looked in danger in upper stretch, but responded to urging to safely hold on. RUN MANNY RUN bumped both sides at the start, stayed off the rail and spied leader in hand on the backstretch, continued under confident handling on the turn, ranged up three wide and failed to deliver the needed rally to prevail. RUN KING STUD RUN tracked leader three wide on the backstretch, continued three wide on the turn, entered stretch in the four path, lugged in approaching the final sixteenth and easily held third. MIGHTY BOISTEROUS stalked pace two wide on the backstretch, continued two wide on the turn, failed to have the needed response when asked in the lane and held position to the wire. ABADON away cleanly, stalked pace along the inside, continued to save ground on the turn and failed to improve position in the lane when asked. MR. MERCEDES broke out and bumped rival at the start, had to steady when exiting the chute, stayed three wide throughout and failed to threaten.
