Chart notes
BACK TO OHIO stalked the early pace three wide, surged to the lead nearing the top of the stretch with a rapid move in the four path then drew off to win as much the best while in hand. LADY LOTTIE broke in front, set a rapid pace for a half then was no match for the winner. SPARKLING JEWEL allowed to settle, had a mild late rally in the five path. SERGER bobbled at the start then failed to menace. LADY JASPER passed tiring rivals. TWENTY FOUR KARAT pressed the pace along the rail and was through early. EMERSON JONES had brief speed. RUBY LAYNE was through after five sixteenths of a mile.
