Chart notes
MAGOO, urged prompting the pace outside a rival from the outset to the far turn, edged forward racing into upper stretch, then kicked clear under pressure and was taken in hand approaching the wire. WESTONS WILDCAT, urged along the inside disputing the pace into the backstretch, dueled grudgingly through the far turn to midstretch but yielded to the winner late. TONKA WARRIOR, pulling a bit tracking off the first flight along the inside in the opening half, tipped out three wide racing into upper stretch and finished evenly while being outkicked for the place honors. QUANTUM LEAP, caught in the four path racing into the first turn, tracked the leaders outside rivals in the second flight to the far turn, was fanned four wide into upper stretch but had no final kick. JOKER MATT, reserved last to the backstretch, saved ground to upper stretch and made no impact. BECKETT'S LUCKYDAY tracked off the first flight between foes to the backstretch and faded after a half.
