Chart notes
COUGER, forwardly placed attending a rival's pace, pressed the issue on the turn to wrest the advantage, shook clear racing into upper stretch and was kept to firm encouragement. BRAHMS IS WHO tracked outside rivals in second flight, advanced three wide racing to upper stretch and proved best of the others. BRIAR THICKET, off slowly, angled to the inside early, saved ground on the bend, then tipped out to gain some position between foes. ALL NATIVE settled between foes in the last flight racing to the turn and offered no rally. INTHEMISTYMOONLITE, urged to the lead a bit off the rail, dueled for command into the turn and gave way. NAVARONES SPARKLE ducked out at the start, made brief pursuit off the leaders off the inside racing through the backstretch but emptied out early.
