Chart notes
LUCAGO vied inside for the lead, showed the way on the turn, shook free at the quarter pole, responded when roused and was kept clear under a mild drive. FLATTER ME tracked on the inside, moved up inside at the quarter pole, angled off the rail, dug in gamely and chased the winner home. MACH ONE steadied at the start, raced two wide off the pace, moved up on the turn, came two wide into the stretch and rallied mildly for third. GRUNDER'S CALL raced two wide off the pace, saved ground on the turn and gained mildly on the rail. ZEALIN IT vied two wide for the lead, chased the winner on the turn and weakened. LAYNES KNIGHT raced three wide early, settled off the rail, off the pace and failed to threaten. HOPE FOR GOLD was off a bit slow and outrun. GENERAL COMMAND broke through the gate prior, did not get loose and reloaded smoothly, raced off the pace inside and did not factor.
