Chart notes
MACRELLETTA well placed and outside, gained a striking position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain and drove clear late. FLOAT AWAY sent from the gate, sprinted clear, held sway to the furlong marker, came again and edged ahead inside, then was no match in the late going and held the place. TOOSWEETFORME tracked the pace, saved ground through the turns, angled out to bid three wide into the stretch, then had a mild late gain and missed the place. DAKOTA DANCER unhurried in the early going, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, came widest into the stretch and evened out. ICY RAIN was no factor. JACQUELINE ANNE steadied between rivals through the first turn, moved up into the second turn, then faded.
