Chart notes
KING VEGA (GB) led the field while saving ground around the first turn, continued to show the way up the backstretch and around the far turn, drew off in upper stretch and held that margin to the wire while drifting out under left handed urging late. MILITARIST saved ground around the first turn, raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and gained ground in late stretch to the wire. ENGLISH TAVERN trailed the field from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, switched to the outside to began a bid while racing four wide around the turn, veered out sharply in upper stretch and gained ground from the center of the track late. EONS raced in the three path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, navigated the far turn three wide and finished evenly. BAKERS BAY saved ground around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, improved position while saving ground around the far turn and flattened out in the lane. BEACON HILL raced in the two path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack between horses, came around the far turn still in the two path and was outkicked in the final furlong. EAMONN raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn from the four path and made no bid. ROADSTER chased the leader from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, began to lose ground while coming around the far turn in the two path and faded further in the lane. AFRICAN HERITAGE raced in the two path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, began to tire while racing in the two path around the far turn and was done from there.
