Chart notes
FAHRENHEIT stalked the pace into the stretch, closed with a burst of speed through deep stretch in the seven path and got up in the final strides. THE COOKIE MAN broke in front, set all the pace, drifted to the six path then couldn't handle the late charge of the winner. SHADOW TRACER chased the pace into the stretch, drifted to the eight path then faded. ADHHAR failed to menace. RULING EMPIRE was no factor. CUMBER was no threat. THE DRAKE was always outrun.
